Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alexandrov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nogueira on his heels. He'll look to pass Nogueira's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Alexandrov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nogueira has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Alexandrov has managed to get both his arms back between Nogueira's legs - danger averted.

Nogueira is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Alexandrov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Nogueira is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Nogueira has escaped and now he's on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We're going to have a standup here because Alexandro Alexandrov wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Nogueira throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Alexandrov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Alexandrov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nogueira's waist but Nogueira gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alexandrov off to one side.

Nogueira is looking for a kimura but Alexandrov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nogueira to get the leverage.

Alexandrov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Nogueira is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alexandrov is on top in guard.

Nogueira is looking to sinch up a triangle. Alexandrov throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Nogueira's body to avoid the submission. Nogueira has instead reached around Alexandrov's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Nogueira arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
