Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Solidus Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Konstantinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Solidus Snake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Boris Konstantinov! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Konstantinov throws a shot to the body.
Konstantinov throws a hook to the side of Snake's head but Snake sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Konstantinov thows a body shot but no joy. Snake throws a series of punches but Konstantinov avoids them all with ease. A head kick misses from Konstantinov. A looping hook to the body misses from Snake. Konstantinov does a little dance to reset his feet. Konstantinov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Konstantinov jabbing away but nothing is landing. Konstantinov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A cross from Konstantinov lands. Konstantinov lands with a nice body punch. Konstantinov feints and then cracks Snake's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Snake down. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Konstantinov connects with a body shot that sends Snake's belly button to the back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snake looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Snake tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Konstantinov is able to avoid easily. Snake throws a lazy uppercut
and Konstantinov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Konstantinov throws a leg kick which misses Snake's front leg but catches the back leg as Snake tries to avoid it. Konstantinov throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Konstantinov lands a jab to the head.
Konstantinov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Snake. Snake takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Konstantinov looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Konstantinov throws a low kick, looking for Snake's leg but Snake calmly moves out of range. Konstantinov misses with a straight left. Konstantinov misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Konstantinov slips a straight right by Snake. Konstantinov lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Snake ducks right into an uppercut from Konstantinov. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Konstantinov fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Konstantinov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Snake but Snake pushes him off and we're back to square one. Konstantinov tries a head kick but it misses.
Snake ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Konstantinov moves away. Snake avoids the body shot from Konstantinov.
Snake takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Konstantinov throws a leg kick and Snake counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Snake. Konstantinov misses with an uppercut
and Snake makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Snake tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Konstantinov scores with a sloppy right hand. Snake should have avoided that one. Konstantinov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boris Konstantinov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Konstantinov works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Snake checks a low kick from Konstantinov. Snake looks to land a combination but Konstantinov avoids it well. Konstantinov throws a leg kick and Snake counters with a lovely straight right hand! Snake takes a jab right on the kisser.
Snake attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Konstantinov moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Konstantinov fails with a takedown attempt. Snake misses with a body kick. Konstantinov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Konstantinov tries to move into range but Snake moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Snake throws a head kick but Konstantinov moves out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Snake ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Konstantinov moves away. Snake steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Konstantinov. That one must have hurt. Konstantinov looking to land some kicks to the body here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boris Konstantinov dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Konstantinov gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Konstantinov wants a takedown.
Snake throws a punch but it's blocked by Konstantinov. Snake manages to break the clinch.
Snake walks into a left hand. Solidus Snake is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Konstantinov connects with a looping right hand.
Snake misses with a double jab.
Horrible takedown by Konstantinov or perhaps it was just good defense by Snake which made him look bad. Snake connects with a crisp jab. Snake swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Konstantinov lands with a good body shot. Snake misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Konstantinov.
That's one minute gone in the round. Konstantinov looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Konstantinov throws a lazy uppercut
and Snake counters with a nice uppercut. Konstantinov turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Snake throws a head kick but Konstantinov moves out of range.
Konstantinov throws a jab when Snake was well out of range. A solid leg kick lands there for Konstantinov.
Konstantinov feints and then cracks Snake's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Snake down. Konstantinov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Snake's hands. Konstantinov moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Snake is rocked!
It looks like Solidus Snake has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Konstantinov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Oh Snake is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Konstantinov throws a nice outside leg kick. Snake walks straight into a right hand from Konstantinov - that's dropped him! Konstantinov jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Snake from any more punishment! Snake complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Boris Konstantinov! Boris Konstantinov was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
