Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rabbit Usavich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Archie Parchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Archie Parchi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Archie Parchi! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Usavich is defended easily by Parchi. Parchi tries to sprawl but Usavich drives through with a takedown into half guard. Parchi is trying to stand.

Usavich seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Parchi tries to get to full guard but Usavich has control of the leg. Parchi is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Parchi keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Parchi is trying to stand up here but Usavich is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Usavich perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Usavich scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Usavich has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Usavich throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Usavich missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Parchi blocking the ground and pound attempt from Usavich. Usavich seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Parchi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Usavich wants to pass to mount but Parchi is defending the position. Usavich lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Parchi can do anything to dispel that myth. Usavich not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Usavich thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Parchi's head.

This has been an exciting period of action! Usavich controlling the action here. Usavich lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Parchi has hold of Usavich's hands but Usavich slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Parchi looks gassed! Usavich not landing any meaningful shots this time. Parchi is staying active underneath Usavich, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Usavich working the head and body with strikes. Usavich working Parchi over with strikes. Usavich is trying to control. Parchi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Usavich sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Parchi defending well though. Usavich is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Usavich wants to lay and pray for a moment but Parchi keeps working. Usavich is nestled in close to Parchi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Parchi is rocked! Usavich lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Parchi is still in real trouble! Can Usavich finish him? Usavich works his foot free and advances to mount. Usavich postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Parchi looks a forlorn figure.
This has been an exciting period of action! A big strike lands for Usavich! That's really hurt Parchi and he's turned his back - Usavich keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Usavich jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
