Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Knife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Knife! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anthony Barnett! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knife shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Barnett closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Barnett lands in his opponent's guard. Knife looking for a guillotine here but Barnett defends easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Knife is on top in guard.
Knife advances to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Knife working over Barnett with some ground and pound. Barnett looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Barnett is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Barnett tries to kick Knife off but Knife keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Knife seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Barnett does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Knife seems to be looking for submissions.
Barnett is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knife is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Barnett doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Knife. Barnett wants to get back to full guard. Knife is looking to advance position but Barnett won't allow it. Barnett is trying to get back to full guard. Knife trying to control the pace. Barnett throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Barnett misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Barnett is trying to stand up here but Knife is controlling him well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Knife stands up and beckons Barnett to join him on the feet. Knife closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barnett circles away. Barnett throws a series of punches but Knife avoids them all with ease. Barnett looks gassed! The fight stays on the outside here - Barnett looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Knife keeps the fight on the outside. Knife tries for a takedown but Barnett sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Knife. That's going to take a lot out of him. Barnett misses with a wild combination.
Barnett fails with the takedown and Knife counters by clinching up. Knife tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Knife pulls guard effortlessly. Knife is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knife in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Barnett tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Knife!
