Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jomar Requina!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Isamu Natsuki!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Requina moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Isamu Natsuki has been cut.
Requina scores with a jab to the jaw.
Natsuki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Requina moves away.
Requina throws a wild body kick that Natsuki sees coming a mile off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Natsuki turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Requina throws a leg kick which misses Natsuki's front leg but catches the back leg as Natsuki tries to avoid it.
Natsuki swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Natsuki shoots in for a takedown but Requina shows good takedown defense.
Requina connects with the punch.
Natsuki throws a low kick but it's checked well by Requina.
Natsuki throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Requina misses with a head kick.
Natsuki throws a leg kick that is checked
letting Requina counter with a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Natsuki shoots for a double leg takedown but Requina sprawls well. He's pushed Natsuki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Requina jabs Natsuki to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Nice shot lands for Requina.
Requina feints and then cracks Natsuki's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Natsuki down.
A thudding body kick lands there by Requina!

Requina tests Natsuki's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Requina pounces like a tiger and cracks Natsuki with a vicious hook! Natsuki is down but not out! Requina follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
