Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Decoteau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takumi Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takumi Suzuki is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jerry Decoteau! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takumi Suzuki! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Decoteau shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Suzuki as he jumps to the side. A combination from Suzuki does no damage. Suzuki throws a right hand that Decoteau ducks under and follows up with a left that Decoteau also avoids with ease. Decoteau needs to keep his hands up - Suzuki had a free shot at his head there. Suzuki stuffs the takedown. Decoteau decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Suzuki is looking to control Decoteau's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Suzuki avoid being mounted? Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Decoteau in particular looking to stall. Suzuki trying to hold on to Decoteau's head to control him but Decoteau postures up.
Suzuki is looking for a sweep. Decoteau is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Decoteau wants to lay and pray for a moment but Suzuki keeps working. Suzuki is looking for a sweep. Decoteau is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suzuki is looking to control Decoteau's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Suzuki avoid being mounted? Decoteau will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Decoteau missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Decoteau throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Suzuki fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Suzuki swats away the attempt to clinch by Decoteau. Decoteau misses with a head kick.
Suzuki misses with a jab, cross combination.
Suzuki throws a nice looking combination but Decoteau bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Takumi Suzuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Decoteau shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Suzuki's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Decoteau gets to his feet - Suzuki follows without any prompting.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Decoteau instigates a clinch. Suzuki tries to score a body lock takedown but Decoteau shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Decoteau gets underhooks to prevent Suzuki's takedown attempt.
Jerry Decoteau has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takumi Suzuki. Suzuki looks gassed! Suzuki lands a nice uppercut. Decoteau is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Suzuki gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Decoteau tries to break the clinch but Suzuki is controlling the position. Decoteau escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Suzuki misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Decoteau fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Suzuki sprawls well initially but Decoteau persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Decoteau moves into full mount! Suzuki won't be happy about that! Suzuki tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Decoteau controlling from the full mount. Decoteau working for a guillotine from mount but Suzuki is in no mood to give up. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Decoteau controlling the position easily from mount. Decoteau prevents Suzuki from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Suzuki tries to buck Decoteau off but he can't manage it. Decoteau lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Suzuki hang on? Decoteau can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Suzuki is looking to escape. Decoteau punishing his opponent with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Decoteau trying to control but Suzuki is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jerry Decoteau dominated that round. That's time! Decoteau's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Decoteau shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Suzuki pinned against the cage. Suzuki gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Suzuki misses with a wild combination.
Decoteau keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Suzuki. Suzuki tries to clinch but Decoteau moves out of range. Decoteau doesn't succeed with the takedown and Suzuki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Suzuki buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nice sprawl there from Decoteau as Suzuki shoots in. Decoteau slips under a jab. Suzuki throws a front kick aimed at Decoteau's knee but Decoteau avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Decoteau misses with a body shot.
Suzuki tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Decoteau swivels and escapes. Suzuki throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Decoteau misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Suzuki shoots in but no luck this time. Jerry Decoteau has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takumi Suzuki. Horrible takedown by Decoteau or perhaps it was just good defense by Suzuki which made him look bad. Decoteau uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Suzuki. Suzuki keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Decoteau misses with a takedown attempt - Suzuki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Suzuki scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Decoteau can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Decoteau manages to work his way to half guard, despite Suzuki's best efforts. Suzuki is looking to pass Decoteau's guard but actually Decoteau recovers to full guard. Decoteau thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Suzuki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Suzuki trying to control the position from guard on top but Decoteau is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Decoteau is looking to sweep but instead, Suzuki has passed into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Suzuki is looking to advance position but Decoteau won't allow it. Decoteau trying to hold on to Suzuki's head to control him but Suzuki postures up.
Decoteau moves into full guard.
Suzuki trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Suzuki is looking to work some ground and pound but Decoteau has wrist control. Suzuki looking to pass the guard. Suzuki stopping the sweep attempt from Decoteau.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Suzuki wants to control from the top but Decoteau keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Decoteau shoots in and drives through. Suzuki sprawls well. Suzuki looks to land a right hand but Decoteau moved out of range. Decoteau misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Decoteau fails to land the takedown. Decoteau moves into the clinch successfully.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Suzuki manages to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Takumi Suzuki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Decoteau's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Suzuki keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Decoteau takes one to the chin there. Suzuki feints and as Decoteau raises his hands in defense, Suzuki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Decoteau is rocked! Decoteau controls Suzuki momentarily but Suzuki frees himself. Oh Decoteau is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Suzuki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Suzuki pushes down on Decoteau's leg and manages to get into half guard. Decoteau seems to have got his legs back now. Suzuki controlling the action here. Jerry Decoteau overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Decoteau is trying to stand up here but Suzuki is controlling him well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Suzuki working the head and body with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suzuki throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Decoteau won't allow Suzuki to pass to mount. Suzuki stalling away here and it's allowed Decoteau to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Suzuki postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Suzuki thows a big elbow that misses. Suzuki throws a big right hand that misses. Decoteau keeping moving, preventing Suzuki from controlling successfully. Suzuki is pushing down on Decoteau's leg trying to pass to half guard. Decoteau is fighting to maintain full guard but Suzuki has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Suzuki prevents Decoteau from standing back up.
Suzuki tries to pass the half guard into mount. Decoteau knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Suzuki scoring with strikes to the body and head. Suzuki not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Decoteau is looking to improve his position.
Suzuki takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Decoteau keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Decoteau displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Suzuki throws out the jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suzuki looks to land a right hand but Decoteau moved out of range. Suzuki works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Decoteau is looking to land body kicks. Suzuki throws a hook but Decoteau avoids it easily. Suzuki thows a body shot but no joy. A jab from Decoteau does it's job there. Suzuki closes the distance and clinches. Decoteau breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Suzuki throws a shot from downtown. Decoteau moves away and avoids it. Suzuki is looking to clinch. Suzuki avoids a punch combination nicely.
Decoteau misses with a takedown attempt - Suzuki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Decoteau tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Suzuki paws at him with a jab and circles away. Decoteau has his takedown stuffed and Suzuki counters with a single leg into guard. Decoteau didn't expect that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerry Decoteau. That's going to take a lot out of him. Decoteau is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Suzuki preventing the sweep. Decoteau is controlling Suzuki's posture. Suzuki trying to control but Decoteau is working from the bottom. Decoteau bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Suzuki's guard. Decoteau drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Decoteau jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Takumi Suzuki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Suzuki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
