Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mad Lion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mad Lion could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Christopher Tua's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mad Lion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Christopher Tua! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lion fails with the takedown and Tua cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Tua throws a series of punches but Lion moves out of range. Tua throws a combination. Lion tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Lion lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Lion shoots in looking for a takedown but Tua manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lion's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lion doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lion takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mad Lion. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lion scores with a takedown into Tua's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tua is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tua slips nicely into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lion trying to hold on to Tua's head to control him but Tua postures up.
Tua seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Tua postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Lion to stand up. Lion is breathing heavily. Tua throws a one two combo.
Lion is rocked! Mad Lion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tua lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Lion out cold! Lion is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Christopher Tua!
