Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lee Stacey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slater has chosen Terminator Theme as his entrance music. Jack Slater is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lee Stacey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Slater!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stacey throws a nice outside leg kick.
Slater uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stacey.
Stacey lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Stacey ducks straight into an uppercut from Slater and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Stacey maanges to regain guard straight away.


Stacey is rocked!

Stacey is looking for a triangle but Slater pushes his legs off easily.
Oh Stacey is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stacey doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Slater trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Stacey seems to have got his legs back now.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stacey is on top in guard.
Stacey working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Slater preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Stacey sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Slater's guard.
Slater pushes Stacey off looking to stand but Stacey dives back in and keeps control.

Slater is trying to stand back up but Stacey is controlling him
Stacey uses his free foot to push down on Slater's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Slater.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stacey is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Slater wants to hold on but Stacey pushes him away.
Stacey lands a big elbow.

Slater is trying desperately to improve position.
Slater is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Slater looks gassed!
Stacey postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Slater looks a forlorn figure.

Slater takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Stacey fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Slater is refusing to be controlled, as Stacey sits in half guard.

Stacey is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Slater wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Stacey.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee warns Slater that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Slater drops Stacey with a nice combination! Slater dives into Stacey's guard, looking to finish!
Slater slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Stacey.

Stacey makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Stacey.

Stacey lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Slater!

Stacey tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Stacey is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Slater can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stacey misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Stacey throws a sloppy strike and Slater uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Slater has ended up in Stacey's guard.
Stacey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Slater stands up from Stacey's guard - Slater perhaps looking for a knockout.

A slapping leg kick lands for Stacey.
Slater blocks a head kick by Stacey.
Slater will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lee Stacey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Slater misses with a series of wild punches.

Stacey gets the takedown into side control.
Stacey scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Slater to see if he's OK.
Slater is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Stacey asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Slater throws Stacey to one side and escapes!

Slater scores with a crisp jab that stopped Stacey in his tracks.
Stacey moves away from the strike by Slater.
Slater avoids the head kick by Stacey.
Slater throws a right hand that Stacey ducks under and follows up with a left that Stacey also avoids with ease.
Stacey throws a hook but Slater blocks it.

Stacey fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Slater sprawls well initially but Stacey persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Stacey passes to side control.
Slater wants to get back to his feet but Stacey is dominant here and he's now got Slater's back!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Slater can't escape the position.
A nice elbow there by Stacey.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee Stacey dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!


Slater lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Stacey falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jack Slater!
