Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Konrad Koltun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjj Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koltun comes to the cage accompanied by Hans Solo - Dopoki jestem. Bjj Spar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Konrad Koltun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bjj Spar!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Spar misses.
Koltun throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Koltun lands a hook that snaps the head of Spar backwards.
Spar wants a takedown.

Spar manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Koltun keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Spar's head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spar throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Koltun not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Spar has his foot on Koltun's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Koltun works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Konrad Koltun just wasn't active enough.
Spar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Koltun sprawls well. Koltun wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Spar gets slowly back to his feet.

Spar lands a nice leg kick that just misses Koltun's sensitive parts.
No luck for Spar with that takedown attempt.
Konrad Koltun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bjj Spar.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Spar is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Koltun's half guard.
Spar looks to land a strike but Koltun avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Spar moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Koltun tries to clinch up but Spar circles away and keeps his distance.

Spar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Spar feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Koltuns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Spar is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Spar throws an overhand right that lands on Koltun's shoulder, as Koltun tries to avoid the shot.
Good leg kick by Koltun there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Spar walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Koltun throws a push kick but Spar slaps the foot to one side.

Koltun fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Spar, pushing him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Koltun throws a leg kick but Spar sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Spar tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Koltun is able to avoid easily.

Spar lands a head kick. Koltun smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Spar throws a leg kick which misses Koltun's front leg but catches the back leg as Koltun tries to avoid it.

Koltun thuds a left hand into Spar's body.
Spar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Spar tries to score with a low kick but Koltun moves his leg out of the way.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Koltun fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Spar manages to avoid it.
Spar throws a right hand that Koltun ducks under and follows up with a left that Koltun also avoids with ease.

Spar works over Koltun's head and body with a nice combination.

Koltun closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Koltun lands in his opponent's guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!


Spar looks to throw a body kick
and Koltun counters with a left to the body.
Koltun is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Spar slaps away a takedown attempt from Koltun, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Koltun moves into the clinch.
Spar tries to work over Koltun's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Spar drops down looking for an ankle pick but Koltun pulls his leg out and moves away.

Koltun breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Koltun ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Spar moves away.
Spar explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Spar takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Spar doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spar throws a sloppy head kick and Koltun moves out of range easily.
Spar needs to keep his hands up - Koltun had a free shot at his head there.

Konrad Koltun is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Koltun feints and then cracks Spar's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Spar down.

Spar will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Spar chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Koltun can pounce on him.

Koltun clobbers Spar with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Spar takes a jab right on the kisser.
Koltun lands a jab to the nose.
Spar shoots in for a takedown but Koltun shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Koltun lands a nice uppercut.

Well Koltun has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
