Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Presoti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gustavo Presoti was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Presoti will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Presoti throws a quick inside leg kick.
Thompson looks to clinch
and Presoti counters with a left and a right that stings Thompson.
Presoti tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Thompson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Thompson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Presoti counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Thompson's guard now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Presoti throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thompson's waist but Thompson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Presoti off to one side.
