Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Michael DeJesus!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
DeJesus shoots in looking for a takedown. Gold tries to sprawl out of it but DeJesus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gold manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
DeJesus avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gold throws a series of punches but DeJesus moves out of range.
DeJesus has a takedown stuffed.
Ari Gold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gold throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
DeJesus shoots for a double leg takedown but Gold sprawls well. He's pushed DeJesus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ari Gold has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael DeJesus.
DeJesus slips a jab and a cross from Gold.
DeJesus closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gold circles away.
DeJesus looks gassed!
Gold misses with the combination.
DeJesus will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gold throws a nice head kick!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gold looks to land a combination but DeJesus avoids it well.

Gold swings for the body but DeJesus moves out of range.
No luck for DeJesus with that takedown attempt.
Gold tries a head kick but it misses.
Gold lands a straight punch to the body, keeping DeJesus at a distance.
Gold connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Gold lands a big right hand that sends DeJesus crashing to the mat! Gold stays standing though and waves DeJesus back to his feet!
DeJesus is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gold throws a pinpoint strike between DeJesus's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends DeJesus crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Gold scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ari Gold!
