The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pelkko shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Alexis counters with a nice uppercut.
Alexis misses with a body kick.
Pelkko scores a takedown into full mount!
Pelkko with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Alexis tries to reverse the position but Pelkko maintains control.
Pelkko has control of Alexis's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Alexis regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Pelkko has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Alexis has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Alexis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pelkko on the ground.
Pelkko is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Pelkko working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Alexis is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Pelkko has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Alexis taps out!
