The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bookem closes the distance and clinches.
Downs blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Still in the clinch, Bookem scores with a nice short uppercut.
Bookem swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Bookem unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Bookem's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bookem misses with a few strikes there.
Bookem closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Downs's guard.
Downs avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Downs looking for a guillotine here but Bookem defends easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Downs looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Bookem is defending well. Downs quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Bookem has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Downs celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
