The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliver will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Oliver misses with a takedown attempt - Makovsky sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Oliver shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Makovsky but Makovsky pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Oliver wants to work for an arm triangle but Makovsky is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
