Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Randall Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Psycho - 50 Cent. Martinez has chosen Till I Collapse as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randall Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pedro Martinez! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Martinez.
Martinez shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Martinez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Martinez stuffs the takedown attempt from Johnson. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet. Johnson throws a jab but it's blocked by Martinez. Johnson looks for a takedown but Martinez sprawls well. Martinez scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Martinez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Martinez blocks a head kick by Johnson.
Martinez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Martinez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Johnson seems keen to control Martinez's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Martinez from controlling successfully. Martinez gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. No luck with that takedown attempt from Johnson. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randall Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Martinez fails with the takedown. Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch. Martinez misses with a series of wild punches.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Martinez. Martinez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Martinez enables Johnson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Martinez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Johnson won't allow Martinez to get back to his feet. Martinez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Johnson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Martinez wants to stand up but Johnson is controlling him. This has been an exciting period of action! Martinez wants to sweep but no luck. Johnson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Johnson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Martinez takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Martinez pushes Johnson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Johnson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. That was a close round but I would say that Randall Johnson will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Martinez showed some decent athleticism there. Johnson tries to get to full guard but Martinez has control of the leg. Randall Johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Johnson trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Martinez manages to pass to mount!

Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown but Martinez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johnson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Martinez fails with a takedown attempt. Martinez fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Johnson fails with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Pedro Martinez will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Johnson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Martinez is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Johnson asserts his dominance and retains side control. Johnson moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Martinez tries to escape but Johnson is in control. Johnson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Martinez wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Johnson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Martinez's shoulder. That is not cool.

Martinez has his takedown stuffed and Johnson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Martinez's guard now. Martinez wants to stand up but Johnson is controlling him. This has been an exciting period of action! Johnson is pushing down on Martinez's leg trying to pass to half guard. Martinez is fighting to maintain full guard but Johnson has managed to sneak the leg through. Johnson not doing much here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johnson prevents Martinez from standing back up.
