Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andre Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Equinox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Equinox is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andre Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Equinox! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Equinox throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease. Equinox throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Equinox will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silva shoots for a takedown but Equinox saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Equinox misses with a two punch combination.
Silva shoots in and drives through. Equinox sprawls well. Equinox waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Silva. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Silva to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Silva is rocked!
It looks like Andre Silva has been cut. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Silva is on top in guard.
Oh Silva is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva passes into half guard. Silva seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva is looking to take a break and control but Equinox is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Silva is trying to work for a kimura but Equinox is defending well.
Silva wants to pass to mount but Equinox is defending the position. Silva not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Silva is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Equinox really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Silva is breathing heavily. Silva is looking for a kimura but Equinox is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Silva to get the leverage. Silva sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Equinox defending well though. Equinox has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Silva is working away from the top position though. Equinox is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Equinox is trying to stand.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Equinox has Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
Equinox breaks the clinch.
A big left from Silva misses. Equinox drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Equinox waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Silva. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Silva to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

That's four minutes gone in the round. Equinox wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Equinox avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Equinox doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Equinox manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Silva wants to sweep but no luck. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Andre Silva will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Andre Silva's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Silva clinches but Equinox breaks the clinch and Equinox connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Equinox. Silva throws a head kick but Equinox moves out of range.
Equinox tests Silva's chin there with a solid looking shot. Equinox lands with a right hand. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva. Silva throws a right and a left that Equinox avoids nicely. Equinox jabs at Silva's body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva darts in trying to clinch and Equinox counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Silva falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). John Equinox!
