Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seifer Shinra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammed Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinra kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Final Fantasy 7 Boss Battle Theme. Ali has chosen General Levy - Professional Ganja Smoker as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Seifer Shinra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mohammed Ali! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shinra doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Shinra is looking to score with low kicks. Shinra fails with the takedown and Ali counters with a one-two to the body. Ali fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shinra shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ali's guard. Ali wants to stand but Shinra is controlling the position. Ali is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ali is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Shinra got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ali has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shinra has managed to get both his arms back between Ali's legs - danger averted. Shinra lands a couple of digs. Ali has his foot on Shinra's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shinra works his way back into a safe position though. Shinra wants to control from the top but Ali keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shinra preventing the sweep. Ali pulls Shinra in close to prevent any damage. Shinra has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ali looking for a sweep. Not yet Ali, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shinra trying to control the position from guard on top but Ali is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ali is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ali scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Seifer Shinra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shinra throws a leg kick and Ali counters with a nice uppercut. No luck for Shinra with that takedown attempt. Shinra closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ali quickly recovers to half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Ali looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ali wants to control but Shinra is keeping busy and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ali tries to roll over but Shinra keeps him under control. Ali pushes Shinra off and gets back to his feet. Shinra defending well as Ali loads up on a big left hand. Shinra pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. A cross from Ali lands. Shinra closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ali gets full guard. Ali utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Shinra throws a big elbow that misses. Ali not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ali manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shinra manages to get himself to full guard.

Ali engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Shinra wants to sweep but no luck. Shinra keeping moving, preventing Ali from controlling successfully. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Ali pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Shinra is keeping the position for now. Ali scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shinra wants to sweep here but Ali controlling him for the moment. Shinra working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ali doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ali manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ali stays in close to Shinra's body and controls the position. Shinra keeping moving, preventing Ali from controlling successfully.
Mohammed Ali has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Shinra closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ali's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shinra stopping the sweep attempt from Ali. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Shinra looking to pass the guard. Ali wants to stand up but Shinra is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shinra shoots in looking for a takedown but Ali manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Shinra's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mohammed Ali is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ali checks a leg kick nicely. Ali avoids a punch combination nicely.

Ali's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ali tried to score with a low kick but Shinra checks it. Shinra misses with a wild body shot. Shinra throws a chopping leg kick but Ali manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Shinra manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ali on his heels. He'll look to pass Ali's guard now, I'm sure. Shinra wants to control from the top but Ali keeps moving. Shinra is really struggling to control Ali but he's trying to hold on to the position. Ali is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ali is keen to just control but Shinra is a slippery customer. Shinra is looking for a sweep. Ali is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ali lands a nice short elbow. Shinra is in trouble now - Ali has advanced to mount! Shinra can't escape the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ali lands a nice shot to the head. Shinra can't escape the position.

Ali is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Shinra is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ali wants to control but Shinra is keeping him busy. Mohammed Ali showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Nice body kick from Ali. Shinra throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Shinra shoots in but no luck this time. Shinra with a poor takedown and Ali counters with a right hand to the body. Shinra throws a leg kick and Ali cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ali stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seifer Shinra. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shinra feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shinra stopping the sweep attempt from Ali. Ali kicks Shinra off and gets to his feet. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Ali checks a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ali lands a head shot. Shinra fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ali manages to avoid it. Shinra uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ali. Shinra misses with a body shot.
Good work by Ali as he checks the leg kick. Ali throws a body punch but Shinra moves out of range. Ali moves in looking to clinch but Shinra pushes him off. Shinra takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Ali loads up on a big right hand but Shinra slips the punch. Seifer Shinra has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mohammed Ali seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shinra throws a leg kick enabling Ali to counter with a crisp jab. Ali has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Ali lands the left hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ali scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Ali gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Shinra to score an easy takedown into full guard. Ali looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shinra is one step ahead there. Ali throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ali wants to control the position but Shinra says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Shinra is working for a kimura but Ali is defending it quite comfortably.

Ali takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Shinra accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Shinra throwing strikes from guard but Ali blocks nicely. Shinra postures up in Ali's guard and throws a big left but Ali blocks it. Ali looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ali lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Shinra! Ali tries to control but Shinra wriggling away.
And that's the end of the fight! Mohammed Ali comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ali has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
