The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Matt Sydal has been cut.
Dave lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dave gets caught napping as Sydal dives in and scores a takedown. Dave manages to retain guard.
Dave preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Sydal has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Sydal is pushing down on Dave's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dave is fighting to maintain full guard but Sydal has managed to sneak the leg through.

Sydal lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Dave! More strikes land and this one is all over! Sydal jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Matt Sydal decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
