The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson wants to clinch
and Evangelista counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Richardson's guard now.
Evangelista looking to sit in guard and control but Richardson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Evangelista throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Evangelista really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Richardson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Richardson passes Evangelista's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Richardson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Evangelista keeps working.
Evangelista trying to get back to full guard but Richardson takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Evangelista is squirming around, avoiding Richardson's attempts to control the action.
Evangelista tries to improve his position but Richardson has taken his back! Richardson has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Evangelista tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Richardson pushes Evangelista away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
