The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slick stuffs the takedown.
Slick takes a swing at Dos Santos's ribcage but misses.
Dos Santos shoots in but Slick avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Slick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Slick shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dos Santos sprawls well. Dos Santos wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Slick gets slowly back to his feet.
Dos Santos looks to score with a jab to the body but Slick is just out of range.

Dos Santos closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Slick's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Slick has his foot on Dos Santos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dos Santos works his way back into a safe position though.

Dos Santos shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Slick as he avoids it easily.

Dos Santos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Slick can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Slick is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dos Santos is just riding it out for now. Slick eventually gives up the hold.

Slick must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Slick has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Dos Santos to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Slick is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Dos Santos pulls down on the head and he's put Slick to sleep! This one is all over!
