Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Buck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes shoots in but no luck this time.
Hughes tries for a takedown but Buck sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Buck misses with a looping right.
Buck keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hughes misses the shot to the body.

and Hughes makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Hughes shoots in looking for a takedown but Buck manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hughes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Buck shoots for a double leg takedown but Hughes sprawls well. He's pushed Buck's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Hughes tries to reverse the position but Buck maintains control.
Buck could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Buck has hold of Hughes's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hughes manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Buck goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hughes turns into him and now he's in Buck's guard.

Hughes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Buck stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
