Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Chikatilo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marshall comes to the cage accompanied by KNOCK 'EM DEAD, KID!. Chikatilo has chosen Black Sunshine as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chikatilo wants to clinch up but Marshall keeps it at a distance.
Chikatilo lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Chikatilo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Marshall.
Marshall moves into range and connects with a jab.
Andrei Chikatilo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chikatilo needs to keep his hands up - Marshall had a free shot at his head there.
Chikatilo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Chikatilo.

Chikatilo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Marshall's calf.
Marshall fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Chikatilo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chikatilo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Marshall misses with a double jab.
Marshall takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Marshall checks a leg kick.
Marshall throws out a loose jab but Chikatilo uses good head movement to avoid it.

Chikatilo lands a big head kick that sends Marshall tumbling to the mat! Chikatilo takes a step backwards and waves Marshall back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Marshall is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Marshall bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A solid leg kick lands there for Chikatilo.
Chikatilo throws a sloppy head kick and Marshall moves out of range easily.
Chikatilo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Marshall lands with an overhand left.
Chikatilo misses with a straight left.
Chikatilo digs a good body shot into Marshall's ribs.
Marshall is breathing heavily.
Chikatilo lands a slapping body shot.
Marshall jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Chikatilo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Marshall slips a jab from Chikatilo.

Chikatilo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marshall.
Chikatilo throws a series of punches but Marshall avoids them all with ease.

Marshall walks forward, straight into a front kick from Chikatilo.
Chikatilo plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Chikatilo connects with a solid leg kick.
Chikatilo throws a leg kick but Marshall checks it.
Chikatilo lands a big right hand that sends Marshall crashing to the mat! Chikatilo stays standing though and waves Marshall back to his feet!
Oh Marshall is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chikatilo throws a body punch but Marshall moves out of range.
Chikatilo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Marshall sprawling to the canvas! Marshall rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Chikatilo finish him?!
Chikatilo darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Marshall's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Chikatilo before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andrei Chikatilo!
Our winner, Andrei Chikatilo, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
