Ribeiro drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Ribeiro swings around for an armbar but Wuopio sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ribeiro's guard.

Wuopio working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Ribeiro can't keep his opponent in guard - Wuopio advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ribeiro is staying active underneath Wuopio, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Wuopio is looking for a kimura but Ribeiro is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wuopio to get the leverage.

Wuopio is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ribeiro has managed to free his arm - good work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wuopio has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ribeiro defend it? Wuopio steps over the head and cranks it - Ribeiro is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Wuopio!
