Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keon Cash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kris Blackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cash's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Unsung. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kris Blackman!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash throws a combination. Blackman tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Cash will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cash circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cash swats away the attempt to clinch by Blackman.

Cash shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cash was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Blackman is in a horrible position here. Cash smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cash is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Blackman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Cash moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Blackman has worked his arm free - good work by Blackman!
Blackman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cash. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Blackman is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Cash asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Blackman takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Cash fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Blackman sprawls well initially but Cash persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fight stays on the outside here - Blackman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Cash wants to get back to striking at distance but Blackman won't allow it.

Cash escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Blackman throws a right hand that Cash ducks under and follows up with a left that Cash also avoids with ease.
Cash throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Blackman.
Cash ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blackman moves away.

Blackman clinches but Cash breaks the clinch
and Cash counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cash throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Blackman's head.
Blackman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Cash counters with a big head kick but Blackman shrugs it off.

Cash manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

and Cash counters with a left and a right that stings Blackman.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cash scores with a jab. Blackman acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Blackman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cash as he avoids it easily.
Keon Cash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kris Blackman.
Blackman wants to clinch but Cash slips to the side

and Cash counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Cash won't allow Blackman to get back to his feet.

Cash is looking to work some ground and pound but Blackman has wrist control.
Blackman is looking to stand up but Cash isn't so interested in that idea.

Blackman is wriggling around but Cash manages to pass to half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Blackman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cash to the mat! Cash manages to get full guard.

Cash is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cash, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
