Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randy Marsh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aaron Anderson! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Anderson trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Marsh has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Anderson is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Anderson clinches. Anderson letting Marsh take a breather here. Marsh looks to throw an elbow but misses. Marsh unloads a knee to the mid-section. Anderson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Marsh prevents a body shot from Anderson. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Marsh obliges. Marsh misses with an elbow strike.

Anderson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Marsh looks to clinch and Anderson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Marsh! This has been an exciting period of action! Anderson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Marsh is looking to escape. Anderson throws some wild stikes that Marsh manages to avoid easily.
Marsh is squirming around, avoiding Anderson's attempts to control the action. The referee warns Marsh that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marsh wants to try and get back to his feet. Anderson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Marsh manages to avoid the submission attempt. Marsh regains half guard there - taking advantage of Anderson's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Anderson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Marsh knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marsh leaves Anderson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Anderson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Marsh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Anderson's waist but Anderson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marsh off to one side. Marsh is looking to clinch but Anderson is avoiding it.

Anderson rushes Marsh and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Marsh throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Anderson blocks it with crossed arms. Marsh with a knee to the head.

Marsh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Anderson drives through with a takedown into Marsh's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Marsh will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Anderson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Marsh wants to get back to his feet but Anderson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Aaron Anderson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. A momentary lapse in concentration from Anderson enables Marsh to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Anderson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Marsh stands up from guard. Let's bang! Randy Marsh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anderson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Marsh defends it nicely. Randy Marsh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron Anderson. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Anderson shoots and misses and Marsh counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Anderson's guard now. Anderson is breathing heavily. Marsh wanted to stand there but Anderson had control of the position. Anderson wants to improve his position but instead Marsh has moved into half guard.

Anderson manages to get back to half guard. Marsh wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Anderson uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Anderson manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marsh wants to clinch and Anderson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Marsh manages to escape and get back to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Marsh has his takedown stuffed and Anderson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Marsh! Anderson with good strikes from the mount here! Anderson working for a submission but Marsh is keeping him at bay. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Marsh bucks up and throws Anderson to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Aaron Anderson will probably get the nod - 10:9. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Anderson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Anderson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Marsh defends well. Anderson controls Marsh momentarily but Marsh frees himself. Marsh would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Marsh creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Marsh gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Anderson is looking to take this one to the mat. Marsh lands a body shot. A nice glancing elbow lands by Marsh. Randy Marsh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Marsh misses with an elbow strike.
