Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Scrooge McDuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Nieddds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDuck comes to the cage accompanied by Scrooge McDuck. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scrooge McDuck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Nieddds! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nieddds lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Nieddds keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nieddds scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Nieddds looks to land a left hand but McDuck moved out of range nicely. No luck for McDuck with that takedown attempt. Nieddds works the jab nicely. Scrooge McDuck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McDuck fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scrooge McDuck. That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck with that takedown attempt from McDuck. A swing and a miss from Nieddds. Nieddds swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McDuck. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McDuck. This has been an exciting period of action! McDuck throws a left and a right that both miss
and Nieddds counters with a nice body shot.

Nieddds blocks a low kick nicely. McDuck fails with the takedown and Nieddds counters with a stiff right hand. Nieddds tests McDuck's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nieddds gets caught napping as McDuck dives in and scores a takedown. Nieddds manages to retain guard. Nieddds is pulling down on McDuck's head to control his posture. Nieddds wants to get back to his feet but McDuck is in a dominant position and won't allow it. McDuck postures up in Nieddds's guard and throws a big left but Nieddds blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nieddds pulls McDuck in close to his closed guard and prevents McDuck from doing any damage or advancing position. Nieddds really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McDuck. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nieddds wants to sweep here but McDuck controlling him for the moment. Nieddds keeping moving, preventing McDuck from controlling successfully.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. McDuck takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McDuck fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nieddds avoids it really well and circles away. Nieddds dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McDuck shoots in for a double leg but Nieddds sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. McDuck misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. McDuck moves out of range as Nieddds strikes. Nieddds throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nieddds connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McDuck momentarily.
Bobby Nieddds is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice sprawl there from Nieddds as McDuck shoots in. McDuck lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Nieddds with a nice cross. Nieddds bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. McDuck closes the distance and clinches up with Nieddds, looking for a takedown. McDuck pushes Nieddds against the cage but Nieddds circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nieddds thuds a left hand into McDuck's body. A punch combination from Nieddds misses. Nieddds lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McDuck circles away quickly and effectively.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nieddds lands a jab to McDuck's midsection. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McDuck tries for a takedown but Nieddds sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. McDuck throws a right and a left that Nieddds avoids nicely. McDuck lands a lovely overhand right. Nieddds with a nice cross. A cross from Nieddds lands. McDuck takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. McDuck misses with a hook. McDuck throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nieddds's waist but Nieddds gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McDuck off to one side. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nieddds lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. McDuck tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. McDuck shoots for a takedown but Nieddds saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Nieddds stuns McDuck with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McDuck shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Nieddds leaves McDuck with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Nieddds scores with a crisp jab that stopped McDuck in his tracks. McDuck takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. McDuck avoids the body shot from Nieddds.
McDuck shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scrooge McDuck. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nieddds thows a body shot but no joy. McDuck shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nieddds as he avoids it easily. Nice takedown defense from Nieddds. No joy for McDuck on that attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McDuck gets the takedown into side control. Nieddds tries to escape but McDuck is in control. Nieddds is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's one minute gone in the round. McDuck postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Nieddds is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Nieddds keeps McDuck under control for a moment. You can see the frustration on Nieddds's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. McDuck wants to control but Nieddds is keeping him busy. McDuck creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Nieddds sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nieddds tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McDuck wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Nieddds manages to get back to half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nieddds can do anything to dispel that myth. Nieddds blocking the ground and pound attempt from McDuck. McDuck keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. McDuck has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. McDuck thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nieddds's head. McDuck is nestled in close to Nieddds, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Nieddds is trying to maintain the position but McDuck is very close to passing his half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nieddds might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control McDuck kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. McDuck is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nieddds is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Bobby Nieddds has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Nieddds fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McDuck on the side of the head. Nieddds throws a body punch but McDuck moves out of range. McDuck is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nieddds sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Nieddds scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. McDuck fails with a takedown attempt. McDuck takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nieddds rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McDuck moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nieddds throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. McDuck doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Nieddds throws a series of punches but McDuck avoids them all with ease. Bobby Nieddds seems to be getting the better of the standup. McDuck closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nieddds to the mat! Nieddds manages to get full guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nieddds controls McDuck momentarily but McDuck frees himself. Nieddds has his feet on McDuck's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. McDuck showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nieddds.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McDuck avoids a punch combination nicely.
Scrooge McDuck is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nieddds stuffs the takedown attempt from McDuck. McDuck gets slowly back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. Nieddds wants to control from the top but McDuck keeps moving. Nieddds not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. McDuck has an active guard here but Nieddds has managed to pass into half guard.

Nieddds is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for McDuck. Nieddds stands up and beckons McDuck to his feet. Nieddds throws the left hand but McDuck avoids the punch easily. McDuck closes the distance and clinches up with Nieddds, looking for a takedown. McDuck pushes Nieddds against the cage but Nieddds circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nieddds jabs at McDuck's body. Nieddds scores with a crisp jab that stopped McDuck in his tracks.

McDuck changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nieddds tries to avoid it but McDuck manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nieddds to the ground. Nieddds escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nieddds steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McDuck. McDuck shoots in for a double leg but Nieddds sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Nieddds lands a jab-cross combination. McDuck fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nieddds avoids it really well and circles away. Nieddds connects with a body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McDuck with a poor takedown and Nieddds cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nieddds connects with a right hand. McDuck shakes it off. Bobby Nieddds is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Nieddds throws a series of punches but McDuck moves out of range. Scrooge McDuck has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nieddds moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. McDuck shoots in for a takedown but Nieddds shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Decent striking displayed by McDuck there. Nieddds stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nieddds throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McDuck. McDuck scores with a nice strike.
And that's the end of the fight! Bobby Nieddds comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Nieddds winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
