Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Marte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Larsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marte comes to the cage accompanied by move. Vinnie Larsen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo Marte! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vinnie Larsen! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larsen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Marte.
Marte looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Marte misses with a double jab.
Larsen drives through with a takedown into guard. Larsen advances to half guard. Larsen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Larsen tries to stand and escape but Marte actually recovers to full guard. Larsen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Marte is keeping the position for now. Marte escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Larsen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Larsen stands up from Marte's guard - Larsen perhaps looking for a knockout. Horrible takedown by Larsen or perhaps it was just good defense by Marte which made him look bad. Ricardo Marte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Larsen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Larsen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Marte tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marte is trying to keep Larsen in close.
Marte looking for a sweep. Not yet Marte, not yet. Marte pulls Larsen in to control the position. Marte wants to stand up but Larsen is controlling him. Larsen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Larsen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Larsen takes the fight into the clinch. Marte tries to break the clinch but Larsen is controlling the position. Larsen goes for a takedown in the clinch but Marte prevents it.
Marte is looking to break free of the clinch but Larsen has double underhooks. Larsen tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Larsen breaks the clinch.
Marte misses with the combination.
Larsen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Larsen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Marte is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marte is looking for a triangle but Larsen pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Marte is on top in guard.
Larsen keeping full guard, as Marte tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marte is looking to work some ground and pound but Larsen has wrist control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vinnie Larsen dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Marte misses with the combination.
Larsen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Marte but Marte pushes him off and we're back to square one. Marte has closed the distance and engaged Larsen in a clinch.
Larsen throws an elbow that misses.
Marte is trying to break free. Larsen tries to land a knee to the head but Marte blocks with his arms.
Larsen prevents a takedown attempt there.
Larsen misses with a knee to the head. Larsen is working for takedown but Marte is calmly controlling the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marte has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Larsen is trying to keep an underhook but Marte manages to get the takedown into half guard. Marte tries to stand and escape but Larsen actually recovers to full guard. Larsen has his feet on Marte's thighs here. He's pushed Marte off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Marte screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
