Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Red Belt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, James Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Taylor wants it to stay on the feet.
Taylor throws a series of punches but Belt avoids them all with ease.
Belt circles away from the clinch attempt.

Belt bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Belt is trying to get an arm triangle but Taylor is defending well.

Belt is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Taylor has escaped the position, nice work there.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Belt looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Belt lands a few punches from side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Belt working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Belt landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Belt working the ground and pound.
Taylor wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Taylor tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Belt wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Belt has an Americana. Taylor didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Belt is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Belt hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Red Belt!
