Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erik Josten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fro Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josten comes to the cage accompanied by Never To Late. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Fro Rogan enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogan with a poor takedown
and Josten counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fro Rogan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rogan fails with the takedown
and Josten connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Josten misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rogan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Erik Josten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fro Rogan.
Horrible takedown by Rogan or perhaps it was just good defense by Josten which made him look bad.
Josten closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rogan wants to take the fight to the mat but Josten manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Josten is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rogan is defending well for now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Rogan has his foot on Josten's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Josten works his way back into a safe position though.

Rogan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Josten is fending him off so far but Rogan persists. Nope, Josten circles away and we're back to standing.

Rogan ducks straight into an uppercut from Josten and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Rogan manages to regain guard straight away.

Josten wanted to stand there but Rogan had control of the position.
