Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Filip Komljenovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Mcgillicutty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Filip Komljenovic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Mcgillicutty! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Komljenovic swinging wildly here.
Mcgillicutty lands a slapping body shot.
Komljenovic takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Komljenovic takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Komljenovic misses with a double jab.
Mcgillicutty looks to land a combination but Komljenovic avoids it well. Komljenovic throws a nice looking combination but Mcgillicutty bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Komljenovic leaves Mcgillicutty with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Komljenovic throws the left hand but Mcgillicutty avoids the punch easily. Komljenovic tries to bum rush Mcgillicutty with a series of wild strikes but Mcgillicutty uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mcgillicutty tries to close the distance and clinch up but Komljenovic swats him away and circles back towards the center. Komljenovic throws a series of punches but Mcgillicutty avoids them all with ease. Komljenovic gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcgillicutty tries to clinch there but Komljenovic circles away.
Mcgillicutty getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Sloppy strikes from Komljenovic. Those never looked like landing. Komljenovic throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mcgillicutty. Jack Mcgillicutty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mcgillicutty tests Komljenovic's chin there with a solid looking shot. Komljenovic gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Komljenovic tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Mcgillicutty is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Komljenovic buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Komljenovic!! Komljenovic is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Mcgillicutty throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Mcgillicutty! In his post fight interview, Jack Mcgillicutty started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
