Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stone Kirby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Sir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sir is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kickstart. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stone Kirby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pablo Sir! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sir moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Sir fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kirby on the side of the head. Sir swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Sir checks a leg kick. Kirby slips under a jab from Sir. Sir misses with a looping right. Sir stalks Kirby and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kirby's face. Kirby staggers backwards, shaken. Sir throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kirby. Kirby lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Kirby avoids the body shot from Sir.
Kirby with a hook. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sir feints a jab promting Kirby to slip. Sir then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kirby slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Kirby bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Kirby on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Sir has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kirby. Sir gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kirby counters with a stiff right hand. Sir takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sir misses the jab. Kirby throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Pablo Sir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A solid body kick from Kirby. Kirby avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kirby keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kirby throws a wild body kick that Sir sees coming a mile off. Sir misses with a looping right. Sir scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Kirby cracks the inside of Sir's front leg. Sir misses with a straight right. Kirby scores with a nice body kick.
Kirby connects with a leg kick. Sir looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. A looping hook to the body misses from Kirby. Sir does a little dance to reset his feet. Sir misses with a hook. Kirby ducked under it nicely. Sir scores with a jab. Kirby keeps Sir at a distance using the push kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kirby instigates a clinch.

Kirby knows he should have avoided that one. Sir tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kirby was well out of range. Poor timing from Sir. Kirby throws a low kick but Sir moves out of range easily. Kirby throws a head kick that misses. Sir fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Kirby looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sir tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kirby shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Sir looks to land a left hand but Kirby moved out of range nicely. Kirby throws a jab when Sir was well out of range. Kirby is looking to clinch. Kirby throws a leg kick which misses Sir's front leg but catches the back leg as Sir tries to avoid it. Sir moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Sir lands a slapping body shot.

Sir has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Kirby. Kirby lands a jab to the nose. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kirby takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Pablo Sir has been cut. Sir blocks a jab. Sir is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kirby had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Kirby throws a leg kick that misses. Sir throws a right hand that Kirby ducks under and follows up with a left that Kirby also avoids with ease. Sir takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Kirby clinches up with Sir and pushes him back against the cage. Sir has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kirby avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Kirby lands a nice elbow. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sir tries to break free but Kirby pushes him back against the cage. Kirby gets underhooks to prevent Sir's takedown attempt.
Stone Kirby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Sir. Kirby lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Sir dodges an elbow strike from Kirby.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That has opened up Pablo Sir's cut even more. Kirby keeps control of Sir as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kirby lands a nice elbow. Kirby pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sir throws a right and a left that Kirby avoids nicely. Nice body kick there by Kirby. The fight moves into the clinch position. Sir tries to break the clinch but Kirby is controlling the position. Sir misses with some punches.
Sir has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kirby avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Sir blocks the elbow strike.
Kirby lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Sir scores with a hook to the body. Sir is trying to force a seperation but Kirby has the dominant position. A frustrated look appears on Sir's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Kirby pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Sir avoids a wild elbow strike from Kirby. Sir wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kirby lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Sir looks for a takedown but Kirby sprawls well. Kirby pushes Sir away with a front kick. Sir takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kirby throws a body punch but Sir moves out of range. Sir misses with a looping left. Sir misses with a straight right. A kick lands to the mid section there for Kirby.

A lazy left from Kirby finds it's target. Kirby connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Sir looks to throw the jab but Kirby is out of range. Kirby tries to move into range but Sir moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Kirby throws a quick inside leg kick. Sir misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Stone Kirby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Sir. Sir on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kirby lands the left hand. Sir shoots in for a takedown but Kirby shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kirby lands with a thumping leg kick.

Sir throws out a loose jab but Kirby uses good head movement to avoid it. Sir seems to have recovered his senses. Kirby lands a brutal head kick. Sir looks out on his feet and Kirby throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
