Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dog Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jorge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorge has chosen Back in black as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dog Penn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Jorge!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Penn.
Sloppy strikes from Jorge. Those never looked like landing.
Penn moves to clinch but Jorge breaks away
and Jorge connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Penn throws a right and a left that both miss.
Penn fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jorge checks it well.
Jorge dives in and grabs Penn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Penn pushes down on Jorge's head and hops out.
Jorge thows a body shot but no joy.
Jorge shoots in and bounces Penn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Jorge postures up in Penn's guard and throws a big left but Penn blocks it.
Jorge postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jorge accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jorge throwing strikes but missing.
Jorge got a little sloppy there for a moment and Penn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jorge has managed to get both his arms back between Penn's legs - danger averted.

Jorge trying to control the position from guard on top but Penn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jorge postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Jorge postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Penn utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Jorge looking to sit in guard and control but Penn gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Penn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jorge managing to control the position.
Jorge looking to hit a scissor sweep but Penn is one step ahead there.
Jorge is looking for a triangle but Penn pushes his legs off easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Penn wants to control from the top but Jorge keeps moving.

Penn trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Jorge manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Jorge wants to control but Penn is keeping him busy.
Jorge has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Jorge seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Penn wants to improve his position but Jorge is controlling well.
Jorge is looking for a kimura here.
Jorge scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Penn is refusing to be controlled, as Jorge sits in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Jorge dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jorge lands a nice looking body shot.
Jorge shoots in but Penn avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Penn throws a right hand that Jorge ducks under and follows up with a left that Jorge also avoids with ease.
Penn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jorge paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jorge scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Penn closes the distance and pushes Jorge back into the cage.
Jorge blocks a body shot from Penn.
Penn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Penn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jorge lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jorge throws a right and a left that Penn avoids nicely.
Penn tries to clinch there but Jorge circles away.
Penn tries a head kick but it misses.
Penn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Penn gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jorge to score an easy takedown into full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jorge trying to control but Penn is working from the bottom.

Jorge in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Penn utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Penn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jorge on the ground.
Jorge is pushing down on Penn's leg trying to pass to half guard. Penn is fighting to maintain full guard but Jorge has managed to sneak the leg through.
Penn is in trouble now - Jorge has advanced to mount!

Jorge fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jorge cracks Penn with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Penn tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jorge lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Jorge content just to control the position here.
Jorge trying to control but Penn is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jorge working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Jorge with shots to the head and body - Penn looks very uncomfortable down there.
Jorge scoring with strikes but Penn is staying in there.
Penn is rocked!

Oh Penn is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jorge looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Penn covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

A relieved looking James Jorge thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
