Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Obed Kunirio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RIP Evan Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanner has chosen Tornado of Souls - Megadeth as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Obed Kunirio could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to RIP Evan Tanner's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Obed Kunirio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, RIP Evan Tanner! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tanner takes a body punch but keeps moving. Tanner misses with a left hand and Kunirio counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Kunirio avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tanner looks to land a right hand but Kunirio moved out of range. No joy there for Kunirio, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kunirio's corner calls for a 1-2. Kunirio obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Tanner lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tanner closes the distance looking to clinch and Kunirio connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kunirio thows a body shot but no joy. Tanner showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kunirio.
Tanner takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Tanner swings for the body but Kunirio moves out of range.
Kunirio on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Tanner shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tanner was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kunirio keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tanner working the ground and pound effectively.
It looks like Obed Kunirio has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tanner working Kunirio over with strikes here. Tanner dominating with strikes here. Tanner lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Tanner working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Kunirio looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Tanner! Submission of the night perhaps?
