The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rooney throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Lewis closes the distance and clinches.
Rooney lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Lewis.
Lewis is looking to break free of the clinch but Rooney has double underhooks.
Lewis drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rooney gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Rooney tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Lewis lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Clifford Lewis hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Lewis manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rooney on his heels. He'll look to pass Rooney's guard now, I'm sure.

Lewis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rooney's waist but Rooney gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lewis off to one side.

Lewis is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Rooney won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Lewis off his unconscious opponent!
