Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Ken Tentheros! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Drasek Riven! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice cross by Tentheros. Riven throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tentheros cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Riven bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Left hook, right uppercut from Riven. Riven falls off balance throwing a combination
and Tentheros counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tentheros lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Riven looks to score with a jab to the body but Tentheros is just out of range. Tentheros throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Riven. Riven throws a series of punches but Tentheros avoids them all with ease. Some wild striking there from Riven.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tentheros throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Riven was covering up waiting for the punch and Tentheros finishes the takedown easily into guard. Tentheros missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Tentheros trying to control but Riven is working from the bottom. Riven seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Tentheros with a flurry of punches that miss. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Riven is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tentheros seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Tentheros tries to land a sweep but no joy. Riven wants to pass the guard but Tentheros is keeping the position. Riven won't allow Tentheros to sweep him here. Riven throws a sloppy strike and Tentheros has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Riven is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Tentheros!
