Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris Mullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Carpio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mullen comes to the cage accompanied by Country Boy Can Survive. Carpio comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Derezzed kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mullen misses with a hook
and Mullen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Carpio turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Carpio shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Carpio stalling away here and it's allowed Mullen to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Chris Mullen will probably get the nod.
