Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harley Crowe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Player One!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
One shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Crowe but Crowe pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Crowe fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Crowe scores with a kick to the body.
Good leg kick by Crowe there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
One fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
One drops his hands momentarily and Crowe takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
One shoots for a double leg takedown but Crowe sprawls well. He's pushed One's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Crowe lands with a thumping leg kick.
One tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Crowe counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
One looks gassed!
One moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Crowe scores with the left hand. One knows he should have avoided that one.
One is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Crowe fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
One is still on wobbly legs! Can Crowe finish him?
Harley Crowe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Crowe, right into the meat.
Crowe scores with a nice right hand.
Player One seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crowe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Crowe lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and One falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Harley Crowe!
Harley Crowe decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
