Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ilia Kosarev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clay Guida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ilia Kosarev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clay Guida! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guida closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kosarev quickly recovers to half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Guida postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Kosarev to stand up. Guida shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kosarev napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kosarev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guida on the ground. Guida is looking to take a break and control but Kosarev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kosarev is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Guida has just dragged him back down to the mat. Guida connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kosarev some visible discomfort.
Guida is staying tight to Kosarev's torso, preventing him from escaping. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Let's hope that Guida has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guida wants to control but Kosarev is keeping him busy. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Guida in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kosarev taking punishment in the form of punches.
Guida has hold of Kosarev's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Kosarev seems comfortable defending it but Guida has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Kosarev is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Kosarev is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Guida couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Clay Guida! Our winner, Clay Guida, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
