The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Roberts misses.
Roberts throws a body kick that misses.
Roberts takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Colossus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A nice leg kick lands there from Roberts.
Colossus takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Roberts moves out of range as Colossus strikes.
Nice jab there from Colossus.
Roberts lands a nice hook to Colossus's body. Colossus takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Colossus throws a body kick that misses.
Colossus checks a leg kick.
Colossus swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Roberts pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Roberts has a couple of punches blocked by Colossus.
Colossus misses with a body punch.
Roberts lands a nice uppercut.
Colossus lands with a left to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A right handed body shot lands from Colossus.
Roberts misses with a punch on the inside.
Colossus lands a right hand.
Roberts is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Colossus pushes Roberts back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Colossus misses with a short punch on the inside.
Colossus tries to throw a body punch but Roberts avoids it by throwing Colossus back against the cage.
Roberts has a couple of punches blocked by Colossus.
Colossus misses with a hook to the ribs.
Colossus has Roberts pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Roberts manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Nice body punch from Colossus.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Colossus is leaning against Roberts and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Colossus creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Roberts with a big uppercut! Roberts tries to clinch up but Colossus pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Roberts to the mat! Roberts covers up and Colossus unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
