Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Andre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eugene Albright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andre comes to the cage accompanied by Fort Minor - Remember The Name. Eugene Albright has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Paulo Andre's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Andre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eugene Albright!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Albright avoids a punch combination nicely.
Andre pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Albright shoots for a double leg takedown but Andre sprawls well. He's pushed Albright's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Andre fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Albright takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Andre connects with a solid leg kick.
Albright shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Andre pinned against the cage. Andre gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Albright shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Andre but Andre pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Andre looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Andre is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Albright has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Well, with Albright on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Andre is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Andre wants to control his opponent's hands but Albright gets his hands free.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Paulo Andre will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Andre enables Albright to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Andre manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Albright remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

I would just about give that final round to Eugene Albright.
