Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Derek Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Yummer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Derek Blake looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Derek Blake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Yummer!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yummer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Blake looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Yummer in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Yummer stands up.
Blake is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
No joy there for Yummer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yummer misses with a takedown
and Blake counters with a single leg into guard. Yummer didn't expect that.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yummer looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blake postures up.
Blake preventing the sweep.
Blake wants to get up but he can't break Yummer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Yummer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Blake defends it easily.
Yummer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Blake prevents Yummer from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blake stands and throws Yummer's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Yummer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Blake wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Blake lands a decent elbow from side control.
Blake remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Yummer is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Yummer is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Blake maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Yummer could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Blake has cracked it and Yummer is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Blake!
