Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Puska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Skywalker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puska comes to the cage accompanied by You Ain't Stoppin Me !!!! . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Puska! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Luke Skywalker! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Puska. Skywalker shrugs it off though. Puska misses the shot to the body. Skywalker shoots in for a double leg but Puska sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A good leg kick by Puska. Puska slips a straight right by Skywalker. Skywalker throws a body punch but Puska moves out of range. Skywalker throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Skywalker on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Puska connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Puska uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Skywalker.

Nice defenses there by Puska. Puska swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Skywalker. Puska avoids the body shot from Skywalker.
Puska slips under a jab from Skywalker. Skywalker throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Puska counters with a left to the body. Skywalker throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Skywalker closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Skywalker lands in his opponent's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Skywalker preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Puska is working hard here to advance position. Skywalker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Puska has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Skywalker has managed to get both his arms back between Puska's legs - danger averted. Skywalker throwing strikes but missing. Skywalker trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Skywalker is looking to work some ground and pound but Puska has wrist control. Puska is controlling Skywalker's posture. Skywalker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Puska lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Skywalker! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Puska misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Puska is working for a guillotine from mount but Skywalker frees his head quite easily.
Skywalker is controlling an arm, preventing Puska from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Puska has control of Skywalker's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Skywalker regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Puska goes for an armbar but Skywalker turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Skywalker. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Skywalker is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Puska preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Skywalker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Puska swivels though and keeps the full guard. Puska looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Puska wants to sweep but no luck. Skywalker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Puska. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Skywalker working some strikes from top position. Skywalker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Skywalker won't allow Puska to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Puska has momentary wrist control but Skywalker slips an elbow through the middle. Skywalker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Puska looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Skywalker scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Skywalker landing with the ground and pound. Puska working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Skywalker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Skywalker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Skywalker stands up over Puska, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Puska had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Skywalker defends it easily. Skywalker scoring with punches to the head and body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Luke Skywalker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Skywalker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Puska lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Skywalker misses with a straight right. Puska lands with a shot to the body. Crunch! Skywalker slams his shin into Puska's torso. Puska avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Skywalker fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Puska on the side of the head. Puska slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Puska fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Skywalker avoids it really well and circles away. Mike Puska is winning the standup battle so far. Puska throws a jab when Skywalker was well out of range. Puska avoids the body shot from Skywalker.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Puska thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Skywalker's head. Puska not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Puska is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Skywalker is just riding it out for now. Puska eventually gives up the hold. Puska seems to be working for a kimura but Skywalker defends the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Puska trying to control the action but Skywalker is working from the bottom. Puska is stalling here. Skywalker is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Puska seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Skywalker has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Puska manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Puska regains full guard. Nicely done. Skywalker throws a strike but Puska rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Puska postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Skywalker is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Puska, into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Puska wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Skywalker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Puska is keeping the position for now. Skywalker connects with a couple of short punches. Puska has his foot on Skywalker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Skywalker works his way back into a safe position though. Skywalker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Puska works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Puska is trying to control the position from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Skywalker chips away with some ground and pound. Skywalker working some strikes from top position. Skywalker is in close to Puska's body, working some short punches and elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Noted by the judges no doubt. Skywalker ducks under a wild hook from Puska. Puska takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Puska fails to move to back control. Puska goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Skywalker turns into him and now he's in Puska's guard.

This has been an exciting period of action! Skywalker misses with a head shot. Puska uses the momentum to regain guard. Skywalker working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Puska's head. Luke Skywalker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Skywalker is posturing up here but Puska has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Skywalker tries to roll out but it's too tight and Skywalker has to tap! Slick submission there by Puska!
