Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Baxter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 2, fighting out of London, Shawn Kowalski!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baxter misses with a body kick.
Good leg kick by Baxter there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Baxter pushes Kowalski away with a front kick.
Baxter chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A slapping leg kick lands for Baxter.
Baxter scores with a kick to the midsection.
Kowalski looks gassed!
Baxter thumps Kowalski with a low kick.
Baxter steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kowalski.
Baxter lands a nice looking kick to the body. Kowalski takes a step back to recover.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Baxter lands a big head kick that sends Kowalski tumbling to the mat! Baxter takes a step backwards and waves Kowalski back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Shawn Kowalski has been cut.
Baxter dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kowalski. That did some damage!
Kowalski drops his hands momentarily and Baxter needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Kowalski just on the top of the head. Kowalski drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Kowalski - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ryan Baxter!
