Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neil fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Russell misses with a takedown
and Neil counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Neil wants to lay and pray for a moment but Russell keeps working.
Neil stalling.
Neil throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nice strikes from Neil there.
Russell is trying to stand up here but Neil is controlling him well.
Neil drops an elbow to the side of Russell's head.
Russell misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Neil is trying to control. Russell wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Neil is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Russell has hold of Neil's hands but Neil slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Neil winds up and cracks Russell with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Neil working over Russell with some ground and pound. Russell looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Russell is trying to stand up here but Neil is controlling him well.
Neil content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Neil is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Russell is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
