Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stromile Farseer!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate has a takedown stuffed.
Farseer connects with a solid leg kick.
Tate on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Farseer scores with a jab. Tate acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tate is looking to clinch.
Farseer scores with the left hand. Tate knows he should have avoided that one.

Tate looking to score a takedown here. Farseer is defending well but Tate drives through and ends up in Farseer's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tate postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Farseer trying to control the position.
Tate has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Farseer lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
Tate is looking to work some ground and pound but Farseer has wrist control.
Farseer looking for a sweep. Not yet Farseer, not yet.

Farseer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Farseer working for a triangle but Tate defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Farseer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tate defends it easily.
Tate trying to control but Farseer is working from the bottom.
Tate is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Farseer is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Farseer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Farseer preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Farseer looking for a guillotine here but Tate defends easily.
Farseer is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tate wants to control from the top but Farseer keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Tate wants to pass the guard but Farseer is keeping the position.

Farseer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tate doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Farseer is tightening it up a little... Tate has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Tate reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Tate taps out! Nice BJJ there by Farseer!
