Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshuah Bourne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Snow is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joshuah Bourne!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow tries for a takedown but Bourne sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bourne will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bourne misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bourne stuffs the takedown.

Bourne fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Snow, pushing him back against the cage.
Bourne wants to break free but Snow has control.

Bourne manages to break the clinch.

Bourne decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bourne is nestled in close to Snow, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Bourne seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Snow does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bourne thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Snow's head.

Bourne stands up and beckons Snow to join him on the feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

John Snow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joshuah Bourne.

Snow stands up from guard. Let's bang!

The fight stays on the outside here - Bourne looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bourne shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Snow counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Snow.

Snow wants to get up but he can't break Bourne's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Snow decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bourne, up you get!

Bourne gets caught napping as Snow dives in and scores a takedown. Bourne manages to retain guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Snow stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Bourne looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Snow is fending him off so far but Bourne persists. Nope, Snow circles away and we're back to standing.

Snow moves into range and clinches up with Bourne.

Snow has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bourne is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bourne has Snow pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Snow manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Snow has clasped his hands together around Bourne's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Snow decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bourne to his feet.
Snow swats away the attempt to clinch by Bourne.
Bourne tries for a takedown but Snow sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Snow drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Snow is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Snow is keen to just control but Bourne is a slippery customer.
Snow seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bourne tries to kick Snow off but Snow keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Snow stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Bourne to get to his feet.

Snow has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bourne uses from the top position.

Bourne closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Snow quickly recovers to half guard.
Snow wants to control but Bourne is keeping busy.
Bourne misses with a head shot. Snow uses the momentum to regain guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Joshuah Bourne was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Bourne tries to clinch but Snow is having none of it.
Bourne stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bourne wants it to stay on the feet.
Bourne throws a right and a left that Snow avoids nicely.

Bourne drives through with a takedown into Snow's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Bourne with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Bourne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Snow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bourne is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Bourne drops back, looking for a kneebar! Snow looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Snow looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Snow!

Bourne on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Snow perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Bourne is refusing to be controlled, as Snow sits in half guard.

Snow decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Snow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bourne as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Snow. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Snow shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bourne pinned against the cage. Bourne gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bourne wants to clinch.
Bourne throws a body punch but Snow moves out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Snow connects with a high kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Snow breaks from the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Joshuah Bourne will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Bourne shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Snow but Snow pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
