Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Izaak Guus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Izaak Guus told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby Peterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Izaak Guus ! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Peterson.
Peterson drives through and clinches with Guus against the cage.
Peterson jumps guard and drags Guus to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Guus postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Guus drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Guus jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Guus throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Peterson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Peterson wants to stand up but Guus is controlling him. Guus drops back looking for a leg! Peterson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Peterson manages to kick Guus off! Guus jumps back into Peterson's guard. Peterson is trying to keep Guus in close.
Guus throws a big right hand that misses. Guus looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guus drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Guus jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Guus is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Guus passes into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peterson trying to hold on to Guus 's head to control him but Guus postures up.
Guus lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guus is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Guus should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Guus looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Peterson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guus on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guus is trying for a kimura here. Peterson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Guus wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Izaak Guus !
