Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ed Gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Becker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Becker's choice of entrance music: Masta Ace - Sittin On Chrome. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ed Gein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bruce Becker!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gein tries to sprawl but Becker drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Becker is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Becker prevents Gein from standing back up.
Becker not doing much here.
Becker wants to pass to mount but Gein is defending the position.
Becker stalling.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bruce Becker.
Gein tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Becker was well out of range. Poor timing from Gein.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Becker attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Becker walks into a left hand.
Gein lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Becker circles away quickly and effectively.

Becker lands a high kick to the side of Gein's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Becker dives into guard, looking to finish.


Gein is rocked!


It looks like Ed Gein has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Becker wants to control from the top but Gein keeps moving.
Oh Gein is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gein seems to have got his legs back now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Becker slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bruce Becker wasn't active enough on the ground.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gein.
Gein scores with a punch to the head.
Gein swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Becker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Becker walks into a jab.
Gein buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gein feints a jab promting Becker to slip. Gein then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Becker slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Gein misses with a low kick as Becker jumps back.
Becker tries a low kick but Gein avoids it.
Gein connects with a nice looking jab.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Becker on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Gein wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A leg kick checked by Becker.
Gein leaves Becker with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Becker avoids the body shot from Gein.
Gein scores with a nice head shot.
Gein throws a looping overhand right but Becker ducks down to avoid it.
Ed Gein is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Becker tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Gein scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A combination from Gein does no damage.
Ed Gein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Becker closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gein circles away.
Gein lands a slapping body shot.
Gein lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Becker looks gassed!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gein scores with a decent looking hook.
Gein looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Becker takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.


Becker is rocked!


It looks like Bruce Becker has been cut.
Gein lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Becker is still on wobbly legs! Can Gein finish him?
Becker slips a straight right by Gein.
Becker seems to have recovered his senses.
Gein with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gein fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Becker checks it well.
Gein swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Becker waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gein.

Gein lands a left and a right that send Becker crashing to the mat, dazed. Gein thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Becker looks to score with a jab to the body but Gein is just out of range.
Gein tries to land a leg kick but Becker saw it coming and moves away.
Gein ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ed Gein dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Gein misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gein lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Becker lands the left hand.
Becker takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Becker looks to throw the jab but Gein is out of range.
A lazy left from Gein finds it's target.
Gein swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gein, right into the meat.
Gein scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Becker doesn't seem bothered though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Becker steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gein.
Gein throws a series of punches but Becker moves out of range.
Gein uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Becker.
Gein keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gein avoids the body shot from Becker.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Oooooh!!! Gein has knocked Becker down with a huge combo! Gein steps away and waves a wobbly Becker back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Becker tries for a takedown but Gein sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Becker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gein sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gein throws an uppercut from hell that sends Becker clean off his feet! He's out cold! Gein stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ed Gein!
Ed Gein really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that BioPharm Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
