Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dave Whitewas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Whitewas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mickey Davis! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Davis lands in his opponent's guard. Davis with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Whitewas keeping moving, preventing Davis from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davis throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Davis trying to control the position from guard on top but Whitewas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Whitewas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Davis tries to free his leg and advance position but Whitewas is retaining full guard. Whitewas can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Davis controls the pace. Whitewas preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Whitewas rushes Davis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Whitewas is pressed up against the cage. Davis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Whitewas down to the mat. Whitewas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Dave Whitewas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Davis throws out a loose jab but Whitewas uses good head movement to avoid it.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Whitewas is breathing heavily. Davis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Whitewas tries for a takedown but Davis circles away easily and Davis counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Davis. Whitewas keeping moving, preventing Davis from controlling successfully. Whitewas is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Davis dives into side control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Whitewas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Whitewas tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Whitewas has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Davis is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davis has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Davis working for a submission but Whitewas is keeping him at bay. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Whitewas tries to hold on but Davis postures up. Davis looking for a guillotine from mount but Whitewas is having none of it. Davis lands a heavy elbow. Whitewas is rocked! Davis is landing with some decent strikes but Whitewas is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Oh Whitewas is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Davis trying to control but he's not successful this time. The referee warns Whitewas that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Whitewas has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Whitewas! Davis is trying to keep Whitewas in close.

Whitewas lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Whitewas forces Davis back against the cage and clinches. Davis gets underhooks to prevent Whitewas's takedown attempt.

Whitewas is not going to allow Davis to sit and survive in this position. Mickey Davis has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Whitewas has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Davis has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Davis drops back looking for a leg! Whitewas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Whitewas manages to kick Davis off! Davis jumps back into Whitewas's guard. Davis looking to sit in guard and control but Whitewas gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Davis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Davis had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Whitewas is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Davis Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Whitewas's back instead. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Davis's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
