Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Country (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carson Mile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Roy Country!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carson Mile!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mile tries to clinch up but Country circles away and keeps his distance.
Mile lands with an overhand left.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Country fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Mile lands a left hand.
Country misses with a punch to the body.
Country lands with a left to the head.
Country wants to break the clinch but can't.
Country struggles to land a body shot inside as Mile controls his hands.
Mile scores with a shot to the side of Country's head.
Mile digs a right hand underneath Country's ribcage. Country let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Country blocks a body shot from Mile.
Country works on Mile's body with a couple of short punches.
Country prevents a body shot from Mile.
Country tries a body shot but Mile blocks it.

Country has hold of one of Mile's legs. Mile is fighting the takedown attempt but Country gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Country trying to control the position from guard on top but Mile is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Country is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Country pushing down on Mile's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Mile really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Country. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mile swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Country.

Country shoots in for a double leg but Mile sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mile avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mile throws a shot from downtown. Country moves away and avoids it.
Mile misses with a wild combination.
Mile displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Country throws out the jab.
Country shoots in looking for a takedown. Mile tries to sprawl out of it but Country keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mile manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Roy Country will probably get the nod.

Mile leaves Country with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mile tests Country's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Country misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mile.
Country misses with an uppercut. Mile saw that one coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mile. Country does a little dance to reset his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mile looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mile uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Country.

Nice uppercut lands for Mile. That snapped Country's head back.
Country tries for a takedown but Mile sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mile missing with a left hand there. Country was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Country's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mile connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Country scrambles back to his feet.
Country takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Mile tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mile's jab looks to have found its range, popping Country under the eye.


Country is rocked!
Country has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mile finds it's way round the side to connect with Country's head.
Oh Country is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mile cracks Country with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Country falls to his knees and Mile doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carson Mile!
